Field Sales Representative (Remote - Texas Territory)

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join their growing sales team. This individual will be responsible for driving new business development, building strong customer relationships, and managing sales activity across the Texas market.

The ideal candidate is a hunter who enjoys prospecting, developing relationships with decision-makers, and closing new business. This role offers the opportunity to manage a large territory while contributing directly to the company's continued growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close.
  • Develop and execute territory business plans to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Build relationships with business owners, property owners, facility managers, and other key decision-makers.
  • Conduct consultative sales presentations and recommend solutions based on customer needs.
  • Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and service recommendations.
  • Maintain ongoing customer communication to ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.
  • Partner with internal teams to support customer onboarding and account management.
  • Track sales activity, pipeline development, and territory performance.
  • Travel throughout Texas to meet with prospects and customers (approximately 50% travel).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-3+ years of successful outside sales, field sales, territory sales, or business development experience.
  • Proven ability to prospect, generate leads, and close new business.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience managing a sales territory and working independently.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout Texas.
